What we think about life is how we experience it!
We mumble unpleasantries when we have to get up and go to work, yet we forget to give thanks for having a job when so many do not.
We become disgruntled when we have to pay our bills, yet we forget to give thanks for all the comfort we gained as a result of the services we received.
We become disgruntled when a member of our household uses all the hot water, yet we forget to give thanks for having the choice of varying water temperature!
We become disgruntled when we don’t have the money to buy more stuff we don’t need, yet we forget to be give thanks for all the stuff we already have.
When life doesn’t go our way, we become disgruntled, and by choice, we remain oblivious to the gifts that make our life possible!
Adopting an attitude of gratitude for the things we consider “insignificant”… will change our experiences in the most amazing and joyful ways!
Today is… a good day to be grateful!
