Whenever a neighbor is being loud or cussing someone out… my thoughts are, “I wish you’d shut up!”, or “Please move! Please move! Please MOVE!”
In those moments, I am choosing to not see this expression (that person) as another version of myself. “They” are “me” in another meat suit… expressing “themselves” as “they” choose.
With that said, I thought I would put together some of my favorite reminders to help me stay in my highest alignment.
In Lak’ech Ala K’in
In the Mayan tradition, the title of this post is this phrase’s basic translation.
We can practice In Lak’ech Ala K’in tirelessly because when, and what, we give to others is giving energy to ourselves.
The same can be said about the Hindu word that basically translates to, “I honor you.”
I Am That, I am!
James Twyman spoke about The Moses Code in his bestseller where, essentially, you look at other expressions and know “them” to be “you”. This one I particularly enjoy because it uses language that my left-brain can handle… and my subconscious mind can learn to accept and understand. (Click here for Dr. Wayne Dyer’s meditation on this frequency.)
I See You.
If you are a fan of the film, Avatar, like I am then you will know this one. It is a beautiful, yet simple way of acknowledging the connection between all life.
“To see” is a cornerstone of Na’vi philosophy. It is to open the mind and heart to the present, and embrace Pandora as if encountering it for the very first time. [source]
“You” are another “me” expressing “us” most beautifully.
My own personal reminder… that I often dismiss because I am choosing to default versus allowing and accepting what is occurring around me, for those occurrences are of my own creation. And the people are the characters I created to participate in my version of this play called LIFE.
Speaking of Life, it is always offering “me” opportunities to evolve, so I might as well stop beating myself up for those moments when I ‘miss the mark’.
So, as you finish reading this post, I will leave you with this… I see you! <3
